摘要	Three kinds of magnesium oxysulfate crystals, namely, MgSO4 . 5Mg(OH)(2) . 2H(2)O, 2MgSO(4) .Mg(OH)(2) and 2MgSO(4) . Mg (OH)(2) . 2H(2)O were synthesized by hydrothermal reaction in MgSO4-NaOH-H2O quaternary reciprocal system at 160degreesC. The compositions of these compounds were defined by chemical analysis and X-ray powder diffraction. Their structures and properties were discussed by FTIR spectra and Raman spectra, and the morphologies of the crystals were characterized by SEM. The results indicated that different magnesium oxysulfate can be obtained at different concentration of the MgSO4 solution in the same system, and the molecular structures and the morphologies of these magnesium oxysulfate crystals are very different.
